PTO Summer Reading Challenge
Parents: We want to encourage ALL children to read over the summer. You know your child best. Please help them participate by listing 20 books (or more – additional forms are available at the Spartanpride website) or by tracking how often they read for at least 20 minutes. Older students can do this while reading longer chapter books. Reading with an adult is also an acceptable way to participate for many children!

March 2017

Dear Wilson Community,
It's Hard to believe it's March already.  The year is going by so quickly.  I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing Winter Break.
In the weeks to come, we are hoping to have some consistency in our schedule, as January and February's weather was unpredictable causing a number of snow days, delays and early dismissals.
On March 24th, the PTO will host its annual Wacky Wild Science Night.  We hope to see you there for a great time.  There will be many interactive stations for you to participate in.  We will also have our spring Book Fair the week of March 20-24th.
As we begin to plan for the 2017-2018 school year, I'd like to remind parents that we do not accept request for student placements.  However, if you would like us to consider a request for your student to not be placed with a particular teacher, please send the request to me no later than May 1st.
I look forward to seeing you in and around the building for the upcoming events.  If at any time you have questions or concerns regarding your child's education, please contact their teacher and /or me. Have a wonderful month of March.

Best Regards,

Rebecca Dalrymple, Principal
