RESULTS OF 2017-18 Odyssey of the Mind Region 9 Competition


I am so proud of all our teams and coaches!!  There were smiles everywhere!  Items created out of recycled materials, costumes redesigned from a thrift store purchase, props made out of materials you wouldn't even think of!  A great day overall for South Jeff OMERs!
Kori Bush from Middle School won the OMER Award for her support of her Mocumentary team at Mannsville.  The Whitmore/Becker team is very proud of Kori and her team nominated her for the award.
The Stampfer team from Wilson Elementary was nominated by their long-term judges for the "A Stellar Hangout" problem.  This team always stays positive and respectful and is always kind to each other.
Wilson Elementary:
Rarick team won 1st place in Problem #2 - Emoji, Speak for Yourself, Division 1.  That team will advance to New York State Competition in April.
Stampfer team took 3rd place in Problem #5:  "A Stellar Hangout", Division 1.
Mannsville Elementary: 
Whitmore/Becker team took 3rd place in Problem #3:  Mockumentary!  Seriously?, Division 2.
Clarke Jr/Sr HS:
Walton team took 2nd place for Problem #5:  "A Stellar Hangout", Division III.
We are so proud of all of the South Jeff OMERs and they represented our spartan family well.

RESULTS OF 2017-18 Odyssey of the Mind New York State Competition in Binghamton

Wilson Elementary - Team Rarick - took 15th place overall in New York State.  They competed in Division 1:   Problem #2 - Emoji, Speak for Yourself.  Congratulations Team Rarick on a job Well Done!!!!!
